We can provide documentation and other insurance requirements
for those sad circumstances where your furniture has been caught
in a fire or flood.
We are bonded and fully insured so that your piece(s) are
covered for loss and/or damage from the time of pick-up to the time
that they are returned to you. We will provide insurance for the
current, often substantial, fair market value of your furniture.
We can assist you in determining the value of your furniture for
your own insurance requirements. (We provide this service through
an independent third-party vendor.)
We currently have a backlog of work but will do our best
to accommodate your timeline needs. We can commonly get your project
done in 3 to 5 weeks. For those circumstances where you need us
to keep your furniture during a remodel or repair, we can provide
storage for a nominal fee.
Pricing depends on the condition of the piece and will be
quoted with a not-to-exceed fee per piece at the time of pick up.
General guidelines are as follows:
Chairs - chemical and mechanical stripping, cleaning, polishing
and a minimal amount of sanding (dents and scratches still may be
apparent but the overall aesthetic will not be changed) Original
Tung Oil finish applied. $245 to $425 each.
Dining/Coffee Tables - chemical and mechanical stripping,
cleaning, sanding and polishing of top and top edges (dents and
scratches can be fully removed, left as-is, or taken to any level
in-between) Original Tung Oil finish applied. Base of table cleaned
and a renewal coat of oil applied. $45/square foot, $650 minimum.
Cabinets - chemical and mechanical stripping, cleaning,
polishing and a minimal amount of sanding (dents and scratches still
may be apparent but the overall aesthetic will not be changed) Original
Tung Oil finish or a new non-toxic, low luster pure Tung Oil finish
applied. Base and interior of cabinet cleaned and a renewal coat
of oil applied. $45/square foot of the top + left and right side
panels, $685 minimum. Drawers, grilled doors and shelves additional.
Other services offered include re-grassing of seats, pandanus
cloth replaced, legs replaced or reglued, seats reglued, and spindles
replaced. Fee depends on piece
Transportation service fees depend on the amount of furniture,
the number of people needed to move your furniture, the amount of
restoration services required and the distance from our facilities.
From New York City, the fee for a 7' dining set with 8 chairs would
be about $1,250 each way or about $2,000 round
